Absence: Be aware that in the Block Schedule, every absence is the equivalent of two days of missed material. You are responsible for making up all work after an absence as per the handbook policy. This policy includes class trips.
Classwork/Homework: Homework and announcements will be posted on Classroom. Make sure to check daily. It is your responsibility to complete any missed assignments. For one absence, you will have one day to complete any missing work.
Grading Policy

Projects/Chapter Tests- This may be a project, presentation, or formal test that will demonstrate that you have mastered the topic. Tests given at the end of each chapter will always be announced in advance.
Quizzes-These can be written but can also be demonstrated using technology or presented as a project.
Class work and participation- grade consists of daily preparation, participation, and completion of work assigned during class. Classwork not completed during the class will be homework.
