FINAL project options

As we are getting near the end of the course, a final project is a great way to review what was learnt and how to apply those skills and knowledge. I have provide some options for you to choose one, or two to complete depending on the complexity and scope of the project. They are:

• Designing challenge for a redesign of a product at home (2 required). This is to be completed with 3D Printing.

• Homestyler and Google Sketchup for a multiplex building with 6 units. Building will be two (2) storeys and have 2- 1 bedroom units (450 sq. ft), 2 - 2 bedroom units (640 sq. ft.) and 2 - bachelor pads (320 sq. ft.). The roof and outline of the building will need to be finalized in Sketch Up - tutorials available.

• Building a partially=framed wood model of the cottage plans indicating exterior walls, interior partitions and roof. This is a great challenge if you want to learn more from the Ontario Building Code and provides a "hands on" view on how the rules apply.

The selection of a project must be completed no later than the date indicated in the Classroom. Please complete this Google Form to indicated your selection. Remember there is no change once you have selected.
