Shipping container

Shipping containers have become one of the newest trends in building fast, affordable, and eco-friendly buildings. Once shipping containers have reached their final destination it’s sometimes cheaper to give them away (or sell for cheap) than to ship them back to the place where they started their travels. Nearly indestructible and built to handle harsh climates, shipping containers make sense when they are used for a fast housing project. These containers do have one big drawback, though—they are only 8’0”W x 8’6”H x 20’ or 40’L). This can either limit your design or provide you with a design challenge!
