Can't find the book you want?

Three options:

  1. When in our catalogue, open the menu & click "show out".
This will tell you if we have the book but someone else already has it checked out.
If you still don't see the book you want ...

  2. Email laura.wheeler@ocdsb.ca to request that our library purchase the book.
Tell me the book title & the author.
I can't guarantee we'll buy it. But if it looks like a good book that other students would also like to read, there's a good chance we will.
If we do, you'll be the first to know when we get it in so you can sign it out.

  3. Check the public library.
The Alta Vista branch of the library is so close to school!
You can get a public library card free if you live in Ottawa.
You can request your library card online here.

We post about new books on the shelves as well as older books that are worth checking out!
