Exhibits

The Red Poppy Gallery stages new exhibits of student, staff, and community artwork every two months throughout the school year.

JMSS Artists

There's an enormous amount of talent here at John McCrae in students and staff alike. The Gallery is a space for our artists to showcase their art and to explore the business and practical elements of staging an exhibit.

Community Artists

Connecting to the community is a fundamental part of what we do in the Gallery. Each year the gallery hosts 6 exhibitions that are open to students, alumni, educators, and community artists. The gallery fosters networking and mentoring opportunities for our student artists with community artists. Examples of collaboration include students participating in the staging of community artist exhibitions, and guest artists running workshops and special showings with our students.
