  • A database is a searchable collection of encyclopedia, journal, magazine, and newspaper articles.

  • The OCDSB subscribes to the databases listed below.

  • Some of our databases require a username and password, especially when accessing them from home. Ask your subject teacher or drop by the library and we'll be happy to provide them to you.

Academic magazine, journal and reference book articles.
Arguments, counter-arguments and extensive references on Canadian issues.
Canadian newspaper, magazine, journal and reference book articles.
Journal and magazine articles on historical topics (mostly U.S. content, but some Canadian).
Literary journal and magazine articles, including literary criticism.
