About me
My name is Daniel, and hopefully, I'll soon be part of your Kiteboarding learning experience. Learning new sports has always been a passion of mine, especially the ones that were the most challenging...Some came more naturally and others needed a bit more attention. And though kiteboarding was definitely one of those initially, I've found that those efforts were more than worthwhile. In fact, I now recognize that my struggles as much as my successes are what have made me a more effective instructor.
Speaking of which, another passion of mine is teaching others how to experience the sports that I love. Throughout my life I've seized as many opportunities as I can to teach, whether as a ski instructor (8 years as a CSIA), or teaching experience that includes water skiing and windsurfing. It is ultimately my IKO training that most solidified my skills as both an instructor and kiteboarder. With a focus on teaching practices that respects each client's needs and goals, IKO strongly promotes a focus on equipping students with the tools to experience the sport properly and safely.
About you
I strongly believe that we all learn differently, and often at a different pace. I pride myself on being a responsive instructor who plans and delivers learning that is customized to each client.
As we move through each lesson, I will frequently check-in with you, and adjust the learning or the pace as needed. At Kite4Life, YOU are the most important part of the US.
So now that you know you're in great hands, you're one step closer to being a kiteboarder...Just picture yourself cruising down the shoreline, the wind against your back, your kite powered up and the pure feeling of floating on air. Hard to describe, but something you'll soon be experiencing firsthand!
