Cricut (Vinyl/Paper Cutter)
What is it? The Cricut Maker is a machine that quickly and precisely cuts everything from vinyl, tissue paper, balsa wood, fabric and cardstock. Students can create their own designs which can then be cut and reproduced - t-shirts, logos, signs, drawings, etc...

Where to begin:
Download the Cricut Design Space app OR go to Cricut Design Space
Create an account
Click on “+” to start a New Project
Start to create!!
NB: You MUST use a school iPad OR your own device to use the Cricut machines as they are not compatible with Chromebooks
Ready to print?
Make sure your design has been approved by an adult BEFORE you proceed
Connect to the Maker via bluetooth or usb cord (sometimes you need to turn your bluetooth on and off to discover the device)
Make sure you select the correct Cricut (they are ALL Makers) but choose the correct Device as indicated on the post-it note on the Maker lid.
The pairing code is 0000
Select the appropriate machine (Cricut Maker)
Click on "Make it" and follow the steps
Place your vinyl on the green matte board (pay attention to which side is up, especially if you are using Iron-On)
Make sure your design FITS onto your material
Select the material you are cutting
If you are using IRON ON (for t-shirts & materials) make sure you MIRROR your design (or it will be backwards!)
Select your Machine
Follow the steps
