Benefits of COOP

  • Provides an alternative pathway towards graduation for students who may not be as comfortable in a traditional classroom setting.

  • Help students become more interested into their own education through experiential learning

  • Helps our students apply their learning skills and work habits (responsibility, organization, independent work, collaboration, initiate and self-regulation) outside of the classroom.

  • Allows student success by giving them the hands on experience they don’t necessarily get in the classroom.

  • Gives students a feeling of accomplishment and the beginning of what real world work and life might look like for them. It also allows them to try a new experience that might not be available to them otherwise.
