Students can sign up for elearning to take a course not otherwise offered in-person at CB and that is taught entirely online by a Teacher in the OCDSB or another Ontario school board.  As with face to face classes only a maximum number of students can register in each e-learning course so space is limited.  Please contact your Guidance Counsellor if you are thinking about doing an elearning course.

• These are semestered courses and students are responsible for completing online work and meeting weekly deadlines.

• IB courses are NOT offered online by any Ontario school board

• Information about the Ministry of Education's new mandatory elearning credit requirement for graduation can be found here

• Students/families can opt out of the elearning requirement using the OCDSB Online Learning Requirement Opt-Out Form

Summer School provides an opportunity for students to supplement and enrich their High School Education by acquiring one credit. Students may pursue Summer School courses for a number of reasons and are therefore encouraged to check the OCDSB website or speak with their Guidance Counsellor to identify the 9 - 12 program that's right for them.

• In person & Virtual (synchronous) | July 4 - 26, 2024 at 8:30am - 3:35pm daily

  • • East site: Gloucester HS

    • West site:  Sir Robert Borden

• eLearning (asynchronous) | July 3 - July 31 (dates may vary depending on course provider)
