 The Learning Commons offers many services and resources for teachers, including the following:

• CURIO Current Resources

  • September 2025 

• Equity Lending Library

• Guidance on the Copyright Act and Fair Dealing

  • What teachers can and cannot do

• LC resources and research support

• Room Bookings (calendars will be shared with teachers), for classes, small groups, assessments like EQAO, DELF, academic competitions and special guest speakers

• Support Acquiring Learning Materials for Students with Exceptionalities, including audiobooks

• Support with learning technologies, including D2L, Google Classroom and Managebac

• Team Teaching, including Oral Reading Fluency assessments

• TVO LEARN 

  • Learn at Resources (K-12)

  • Study Hall for Grades 9 to 12 (Courses)

• Workshops (Teacher-led and self-directed; whole class or small group)
