Key Points of Video
1) Students in grade 9 can take the grade 10 Computer Studies course (ICS2O).
2) Students will still get a grade 10 credit even if they are in grade 9.
3) This course is a good option to take in grade 9 if the student is interested in continuing in computers.
4) This is a great course that will teach the students:
i) Teamwork
ii) Problem solving skills
iii) Independent learning skills
iv) That many different skills are needed to create great programs and apps we use everyday
v) An understanding of the level of computers and coding needed in many work fields today
