This workshop has been specifically designed to assist PK-20 educators with the task of creating a digital classroom, planning for and implementing virtual learning, communicating with parents and students using digital tools, and other essential practices that will play a role in today's classroom. We will explore planning and implementing virtual learning, communicating with parents and students using virtual tools, and other essential practices for online learning.

Offer best practices for planning and delivering virtual instruction
Establish guidelines for selecting digital resources
Demonstrate multiple methods for formative assessment, small group instruction, and online communication
Recommend methods of communication with student and parents while teaching virtual
Module 1

This module will provide an overview of the course, explain some terminology used throughout the course, and detail the workshop agenda.

Module 2
This module will focus on lesson planning, setting up a digital classroom, and recording instructional videos for student viewing.
Module 3
Module 3
This module will present information on digital resources to support virtual teaching and learning as well as guidance on Student Data Privacy and vetting online tools.
Module 4
Module 4
This module will present resources and tips on digital formative assessment, small group virtual instruction, online student collaboration, and hosting and communicating virtual office hours.
Module 5
Module 5
This module will focus on avenues for communicating with parents and guardians regarding virtual instructional plans including setting up a parent-communication website.
