It has been great to be able to get our Science lessons as back to normal as we can this term - with staff being able to circulate and tables back in groups, we have been able to do a lot more practical and it has been fantastic to see. Our year 7 students have earned their bunsen burner licenses and there has been a great turn out at year 7 and 8 Science club. Thank you to our prefects for their able assistance!

Year 10 and 11 are making great progress towards their GCSES and we look forward to getting year 9 started after February half term.

This term we have run two science clubs on Wednesday after school.
This term we have run two science clubs on Wednesday after school.
The year 7s have enjoyed practicing new experiments, making slime, Methane bubbles and Rainbow fizz have been particularly popular.

A slightly smaller group of year 8s have been busy planning their investigations to help them gain their Bronze Crest Awards. Investigation questions have ranged from the ideal recipe for Bath bombs to how to make a Chemical rocket.
