OAME Conference

The 2026 OAME Annual Conference was held at Fanshawe College in London, on April 30 - May 1. The theme was Let's Talk Math. The organizing team was made up of members from the TEAMS and WOMA chapters of OAME. This was a hybrid conference, including both in-person and virtual events. The 2027 annual conference will be a virtual conference, with a theme of Mathematics Through Stories: Cultivating Courage, Curiosity & Connection.

The conference encourages educators to envision mathematics as a story‑driven learning experience — one that inspires courage, ignites curiosity, and nurtures meaningful connections in the classroom.
