Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to sign up for individual sessions? For this virtual conference, we are doing things a bit differently (isn't everyone?). We are not pre-selecting workshops like we normally do for our OAME conferences. Instead, the OAME webmaster (email@example.com) will send you the link to all the sessions, and you attend the ones you want.
Is there a limit to the number of people who can attend the live sessions? Since it is all virtual, you won't have to sit on the floor because we ran out of chairs in the room .... (unless you really want to sit on the floor at home to listen). There is, however, a limit of 1000 online attendees per live session. The spaces are taken up first come first serve. [Yes - you read that right - we increased the capacity from 500 to 1000 per session!]
What if I can't get into a live session? All of the live sessions will be recorded and made available on the OAME website.
Is there a limit to the pre-recorded sessions? There is no limit to the number of people who can stream the pre-recorded sessions.
How much does this cost? Did we mention that this Virtual Conference is FREE to ALL educators? (It is!)
Will this all be free forever? The recordings will be placed in the OAME Members only section as of Monday May 11th, 2020 @ 11:59pm, and you will need an OAME membership to access them at that point in time.
