Virtual Conference replacing Face to Face Conference !

Despite the fact that the face to face Math Conference has been cancelled, a Virtual OAME math conference is now being planned for May 6th - 9th, 2020.

Face to Face Conference Cancelled

It is with deep regret that the organizing committee for OAME 2020, in consultation with the OAME Executive Committee, must announce the cancellation of OAME 2020: In Focus that was to take place May 7-8, 2020 at Ontario Tech University/Durham College in Oshawa.

OAME takes pride in offering quality professional development for teachers at our annual conference. Based on the recommendation of Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health to immediately suspend large gatherings and events of over 250 people, the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, and our concern about the welfare of all individuals involved in our conference, we believe that this is the appropriate course of action to take.
