Welcome to 7th Grade Science!

Seventh Grade Science focuses on Earth Science. We will begin the year with an introduction to science, metric measurements, and the scientific method. In the second quarter, we will explore the structure of the Earth, tectonic plates, geologic time scale, and human impact on the environment. In third quarter, we will look into interactions between the Earth, Moon, and Sun and learn about the Solar System. Finally, in fourth quarter, we will explore different STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities, technological advances, and careers in science and engineering.
