This term, we have an exciting range of assemblies this term.
We have already celebrated International Day of Mother Languages and World Wildlife Day.
In our assembly on World Wildlife day, we discussed action the children could take to help local wildlife. The children were very knowledgeable and shared ideas such as:
Clearing up rubbish so it doesn't harm animals.
Planting wild flowers to support insects, bees and butterflies.
Building bug hotels for bugs and inescts to live in.
Create bird feeders to encourage birds to thrive in our local area.
Still to come, we have International Women's Day, Eid al Fitr and World Maths Day!
All of these assemblies provie further enrichment opportunities for our pupils as well as a chance for them to share and expand their knowledge and understanding of important celebrations throughout the module.
Every Wednesday, we will continue with our music assemblies. This module, our music focus is on the Carnival of the Animals. The focus for each session looks at the different movements, the animals and instruments that represent these.
Every Friday, we celebrate the achievements of our pupils using our Learner Profile Attributes.
Well done to the pupils who were chosen to receive a certificate in recognition of the Learner Profile Attributes which they have demonstrated through their learning and all aspects of school this week.
