We are delighted to announce the return of our Pupil Employment Scheme. The Pupil Employment Scheme at Oaks aims to develop key transferable skills in our pupils, as well as providing them with leadership opportunities and develop a greater sense of responsibility within their academy.
The jobs listed below are currently on display at school so pupils can see what is available. They have opportunities to ask questions and learn what each role entails. In the coming weeks, we will open up the application process, and pupils can apply for a job.
If their application is successful, they will be called for interview. If their interview is a success, they will be offered a job! Children earn credits which are then exchanged for an activity at the end of a big term.
Pupils on the Pupil Employment Scheme develop and strengthen a variety of skills, particularly communication, thinking and social skills. The Learner Profile Attributes are also developed pupils through their work. The scheme is an invaluable opportunity to prepare them for secondary school and life beyond that.
