Year 4 Trip

Year 4 had a fabulous day learning about the Romans at Kent Life. They had a wide range of workshops looking at things from Roman food to the Roman Army and everything in between.  Particular highlights included meeting Boudicca and learning about the rebellion against Roman rule. This children commented that Boudicca was a bit scary and mean, but she had every right to be! They also loved joining the Roman Army, They participated in some shield formations and even had a (very safe) sword fight (with foam swords). 

Each child behaved impeccably  and showed our Learner Profile Attributes of being respectful inquisitive and knowledgeable. Their behaviour, as always, was a credit to the school and yourselves and it was commented on by more than one adult.
