Dismissal Information
If there is any change to your child's dismissal, a written note must be sent in with your child in the morning. Faxes, emails and telephone calls cannot be accepted. This applies to bus students, After Care students, and students being picked up by anyone not on their approved dismissal pick up list. This must be enforced for the safety of all students.
Student Absence Procedures
Please call the office at 201-337-4147 to report your child's absence. You must call everyday that your child is absent. A voicemail can be left on the school answering machine. All health related calls will be forwarded to Heights' nurse, Ms. Casamento. In New Jersey, Tabitha's Law stipulates that the school must contact a parent if a student is absent without prior notification to the school. A written note explaining the absence must be sent in with your student upon return.
