Book Leveling

A leveled reading library consists of books organized by level of difficulty, from easy books for beginners to more complex books for advanced readers. Having a leveled library helps in selecting books for groups of children, and the leveling system provides a way to assess a child’s progress over time.

FLOW Follies Playbill Cover Art Contest-2019.pdf

This is a fun-filled family event where runners/walkers of all ages and skill levels come together to raise money for our students through the PTO. Many of our amazing VMS staff members join the festivities along with friends, families, and neighbors. This year, for some light-hearted competition, we will have teams captained by teachers! We also host a 50/50 raffle at the end of the race. Tickets for this will be on sale prior to the event and the winner does not need to be present. Local businesses also support us to make the morning a true community event. We encourage all to participate.

The race offers a flat course that is USTAF certified, race ready and yet comfortable enough to walk.

The money raised is used to support our students through a variety of channels such as updating technology, and supporting the creation of 21 century classroom learning environments.

We need your support to make this race a success!!

This is out largest annual fundraiser, please consider assisting with a variety of behind-the-scenes jobs each requiring only a small time commitment. The PTO and students truly appreciate your ongoing support.
