I have developed a strong practice of using formative and summative assessments to guide instruction across content areas. By collecting and analyzing student data, I design responsive lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners. This goal reflects my commitment to equity-minded, student-centered teaching and will continue to guide my work as I begin my career in the classroom.
I have strengthened my communication with families by using a variety of methods beyond face-to-face interaction, including weekly newsletters, ClassDojo, email, and scheduled conversations. These practices helped build strong home-school connections and fostered greater family engagement. I plan to carry these effective communication strategies into my future classroom to support student success and strengthen partnerships with caregivers.
