Graduate Students
Prospective graduate students are welcome to apply anytime. Contact us to learn whether a Master or PhD positions are currently available. Undergraduate training in molecular biology, physiology or biomedical sciences is preferred, but not required. When contacting us, please include your academic background and your research interests.
Undergraduate students
OU undergraduate students are welcome to contact PI to learn whether positions are available at the lab. There are multiple ways to engange in research:
Honors College: The preferred way to get involved in the lab is via the Honors College program. We are always open to motivated and talented undergraduate students looking for a project for their Honors College Thesis (HC 3900). Note that Honors project require at least one year or more to be completed, so contact the PI early.
Independent Research: Students can also receive course credits for the research performed in the laboratory via the Independent Research (BIO 4995).
SURP: OU offers several paid summer undergraduate research program/internships to immerse (30 hours per week) in research. These are available every summer, but students are encourage to contact the PI before applying.
