We are continuing to learn more about the amazing and unique wildlife that calls the OU Bio Preserve home. Dr. Sandra Troxell Smith (Special Lecturer- Biological Sciences) uses infrared, motion-activated cameras in the preserve to monitor species presence, abundance, and diversity. This project is incorporated into several of the courses she teaches (Bio 3351, Bio 4350/5350), giving students a first-hand opportunity to analyze species diversity right on campus!
