5th STEM

Becoming expert in ALL things Google is a BIG goal for STEM class! 

This includes but is not limited to:

• Google Classroom, Docs, Draw, Forms, Sheets, Sites, Slides

We also dig into some beginning Engineering with: Design Thinking and Design Challenges. 

• Students learn beginning coding.

• E-Portfolios - a collection of student work throughout the year in each subject.

• Typing skills - students learn to keyboard without looking!

• Genius Hour - Students get curious and design their OWN learning experience!

Students also learn very important skills in order to work in COLLABORATIVE groups!

STEM is when students prepare for our Student Exhibition Nights which happen FOUR times throughout the year! The biggest event is our Charity Fair in December.
