5th Language Arts

Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking are the FOUR pillars of our LA Classroom. 

These skills are honed through a variety of activities including: 

• "Quick Write Questions". Students practice their presentation skills by sharing these aloud daily.

• Fiction & Non-Fiction short stories & articles - comprehension & inferencing.

• Grammar & Spelling skills embedded in the MyView Literacy Program

• Independent Reading Choice time.

• Writing - Opinion, Informative, Narrative

• Handwriting Skills
