Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking are the FOUR pillars of our LA Classroom. 

These skills are honed through a variety of activities including: 

• "Quick Write Questions". Students practice their presentation skills by sharing these aloud daily.

• Individual i-ready reading lessons.

• Fiction Read Aloud - comprehension & inferencing using "Notice & Note" Fiction Signposts.

• Grammar & Spelling skills embedded in the Quick Write & on "Writing Wednesdays".

• Independent Reading Choice time.

• Writing - Opinion, Informative, Narrative

• Handwriting Skills
