Practice: An assignment may provide an additional opportunity to strengthen connections made in class.
Checking for Understanding: An assignment may assess your understanding to inform instruction.
Study Skills & Independence: Completing homework assignments helps you practice time management and taking responsibility for your learning.
Extension/Enrichment*: Explore problems ask you to engage in higher-order thinking
Math Homework will be assigned on Day 2 in math class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It will be collected on the following Tuesday/Thursday.
*Students who are only doing G iReady lessons are expected to complete the “Explore” problems on the homework. These problems are encouraged but optional for other students.
Fundamentals Homework is assigned weekly. Students must pass 1, 2, or 3 iReady lessons by midnight each Sunday. There will be a 50% reduction in credit for lessons completed late. Scroll up to learn more about the iReady Platform.
This year we will be using standards based grading to assess progress in math class. Directions on how to use PowerSchool to stay up to date in a standards based class, please follow these DIRECTIONS.
