Ottawa County Parks and Recreation offers health and wellness focused programs for all interests and abilities throughout the entire year. Below is a list of programs that will be offered this fall that you may enjoy. We hope to see you for a hike or program this fall and also at the Spring 2024 Step It Up program!
Registration required, $5/person; ages 10+
Get out and enjoy the transition to fall as you venture ALL THE WAY THRU these amazing parks! A guide will lead you, so you’ll have all the more reason to soak in the beauty and uniqueness of each park.

Experience your favorite parks in a whole new way and see what nocturnal creatures lurk there as you explore by moonlight! Please bring a flashlight.
Registration required, $10/person; ages 18+
Come practice yoga fireside at the Nature Center! All levels of experience are welcome. *Yoga mats not provided.

Taste the colors of fall―the healthiest tour you’ll take of the season! Give yourself a nutritional boost, change up your routine, and rediscover healthy eating and the outdoors at its best―all set against the majestic autumn landscapes of woodlands, shorelines and dunes boasting vibrant colors of peak season. Explore new nutritious ways to indulge in fresh fall favorites, taste the ‘pick of the patch’ and discover the top seasonal superstars to power up your plate to make your meals greener, more interesting and delicious. Tour the colors afterwards on hiking trails―a fall feast for your eyes, as participants can enjoy a FREE fun leisurely-paced guided walk.
