This credential is an invitation to pause, reflect, and practice leading in a way that is both authentic and grounded. Over 16 weeks together, we’ll explore what it means to take 100% responsibility, communicate with candor, navigate challenges with presence, and lead with clarity of values.
This isn’t about ticking boxes or learning rules.
It’s about your personal journey - growing your awareness of yourself and the impact you have as a leader.

You’re stepping into leadership and want to build strong foundations.
You’ve been leading for a while but want to deepen your self-awareness and shift unhelpful patterns.

You don’t need to arrive with all the answers - just the willingness to explore, reflect, and practice.
What you'll experience is...
Weekly online workshops.
A dedicated online hub to access resources, share reflections, and stay connected throughout the 16 weeks. This supports guided reflections and practices between sessions.
Personal one-on-one coaching sessions to deepen your journey.
A nationally recognised (NZQA-approved) Level 5 Micro-Credential Certificate.
Beyond the micro-credential, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of yourself, new tools to shift how you lead, and the confidence to make intentional, attentive choices in your leadership.
Guiding your path to awareness is...
Your leadership facilitator, Tracie Mackey, who has:
Over five years experience coaching executive leaders;
A Master’s degree focused on self-awareness in leadership;
An approach that is practical and authentically direct. Guiding you with curiosity, challenging you with compassion, and creating a space where you can safely explore what it means to lead with greater awareness.

Programme details
Dates: Friday 20 February 2026 – Friday 19 June 2026
Sessions: Occur every Friday [excluding Friday 3 April - Good Friday Public Holiday; Friday 22 May - Break]
Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm [NZST]
Delivery Approach: Sessions are held via Zoom, with live facilitation and coaching.
Learning Platform: You’ll have access to our learning hub, where all resources, activities, and reflections are shared. This is your hub for staying connected between sessions, and keeping everything in one place online.
Upon successful completion, earn the NZQA-approved Micro-credential: Practicing Leadership with Self-Awareness (Level 5)
