Global Competency
The experience to study abroad has broaden my perspective both personally and professionally by allowing me to immerse in various cultures and expand my scope of engineering challenges.
Study Abroad in Abu Dhabi
During the spring of 2022, I had the opportunity to study abroad at NYU Abu Dhabi, UAE. I visited the 2022 World Expo, explored the Dubai Engineering Future Lab, participated in the UAD Quantum Computing Hackathon, and took a trip around National Geological Park and Dessert to engage in various cultural activities.
Study Abroad in London
During the 2023 J-term, I traveled to London, UK and Paris, France. I took courses on the history of European economy and healthcare.
Leadership Activities
NYU Robotic Design Team
I am the lead project manager for the NYU Robotic Design Team. We prototype Martian mining robot to compete in the annual NASA Lunabotics Competition. My responsibility is to oversee production life cycle amongst different subsystems, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. We placed 10th and received the NASA Innovate Award during the 2021-2022 competition!
GLASS Honors Recruiter
As a GLASS honors program representative, I have the privilege to attend NYU Board of Trustee, Open House, and info sessions to promote GLASS program and our initiative to cultivate future leaders in the STEM field.
Academic Excellence
Break Through Tech AI - Cornell University
I participate in the AI/ML development program at Cornell Tech. I received the Cornell Machine Learning Foundation Certificate this summer. My teammates and I have also partnered up with Interactions (startup in NYC) to construct optimized supervised learning model for real-world applicational audio processing.
Neurobotica - Innovention Competition
My team proposed implementation of novel artificial actuator for humanoid robot arms at the NYU Tandon Made Challenge Hackathon. We entered the Global Innovention Competition and placed first place with $10,500 stipend award for research.
Professional Development
Grace Hopper Conference 2023
Attended the GHC 2023 with sponsorship from the NYU Tandon Dean's Office. It was an inspiring experience to connect and network with diverse talents in software engineering.
Society of Women Engineers Conference 2023
Plan to attend SWE23 in Los Angeles, CA on Oct.26-28
Commitment to Service
NYU Prehealth Volunteering at Tanzania
I participated in the NYU service program at Arusha, Tanzania during the summer of 2023. Group of prehealth and engineering students were stationed at city hospitals, children homes, and orphanage to provide assistant. It was a meaningful experience to give back and bond with local community to develop valuable friendships.
