Scholarships

The Tisch Institute Travel Award Scholarship is a merit-based award open to B.S. in Sports Management and M.S. in Sports Business,  (domestic and international).  Students who apply for a Tisch Institute GFI course, and are in good academic standing will be considered for the scholarship. No additional applications are required for the scholarship.


Finalists who are selected must officially accept or deny the award by the date indicated in the award letter. The award amount will be applied to the recipient’s GFI course tuition and fees only.   The recipient will receive a one-time scholarship (varying amounts based on the GFI Program up to $2,500), which will be applied towards the course tuition and fees of GFI program.  If you are a recipient and have accepted a financial aid package, it is your responsibility to discuss this award with the NYU Financial Aid Office prior to accepting the award.  Any  recipient  who  withdraws  from  a  Tisch  Institute  GFI  program,  forfeits  the scholarship funds and is responsible for any fees accrued at the time of the withdrawal

 

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must be in good academic standing. Students in good academic standing will have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 for undergraduates, 3.0 for graduates, and will complete at least 50% of a semester’s course load. For students who are newly admitted, your academic record must be in good academic standing after all grades of your first semester at NYU are posted.

All required application materials must be compiled into one (1) PDF file and submitted online by  (TBD) Eastern Time. Late submissions, incomplete applications, or materials not compiled in a single PDF will not be considered.
