Application Requirements

To enroll in a GFI course, all students must apply by the application deadline. All students must be in good academic standing to apply and participate in a GFI Program. Newly admitted fall 2023 students are welcomed to apply.

Applications including all materials must be compiled into one (1) document. Partial or late submissions will not be accepted. Current resume, copy of current unofficial NYU transcript, and essay (350 words maximum):

• Why are you interested in participating in the Tisch Institute Global Field Intensive program?

• Describe the impact this experience will have on your academic/professional goals.

Applicants will be notified of their status within one week. Students are instructed to not make any financial commitments to a Tisch Institute GFI program until receiving the official acceptance letter. Detailed instructions including when to purchase flights will be shared.
