Global Case Competition
Dear NYU Tandon Consulting Club members,
High Bridge Management Academy invited our club members to participate in the Global Case Competition. Teams will work to solve real-world business challenges and compete with international teams before receiving feedback from our ex-MBB judges.
The prizes for 1st place are $450 and a 1-hour coaching session by a former McKinsey consultant. First runner-up will receive $200 and second runner-up will receive $100. Winners and runners up will also all receive free CV and Cover Letter reviews along with a subscription for The Case Interview Academy app worth $220.
Case competitions are a great opportunity for individuals to display and develop problem-solving and teamwork skills, as well as practicing the application of theories to real-world cases.
Register in teams of 3 – 4 members by June 1, 2022 for a chance to compete.

This session will be to discuss how to crack top consulting companies interview round, hosted by divyanshee makwana working as a technology strategy consultant at deloitte consulting!

This session will be a thorough discussion of how a consulting interview is structured (and common variations such as group casing and interviews etc.). The speaker, Juan David Bolivar, a Senior Consultant at PwC, will go over all the common areas of the consulting interview such as casing, behavioral, "back of the envelope," cognitive tests and any other relevant parts. The speaker will also explain why consulting firms conduct interviews the way they do.

This session is led by Lean Manufacturing professor and long time consultant, Paul Linthorst.
It will be an interactive session where we'll learn basic lean principles and how it can help reduce waste and save time in a production scenario. Afterwards, we'll get a game kit and separate in to teams to solve an industrial problem.

Rise and shine! This morning session (8am ET) will be an opportunity for students to get live practice doing case interviews. Students will breakout into small groups and walk through 2 real cases. For those serious about getting into consulting, there is nothing more important than live practice.

Ever want to know what specifically consultants do? Get to know more about the specific offerings and services of top consulting firms and hear insight on the day-to-day of an NYU Tandon Alumni and EY Consultant, Nikita Ubale.
Nikita will do a deep dive into the specific industries consultants work in (especially consultants with STEM backgrounds) and share concrete examples of consulting project outcomes.
The benefit for students is the ability to hone in on a specific industry they want to work in.

Attend this interactive workshop to better understand the case interview process for non-MBA master's students interested in consulting careers. You’ll learn about the purpose of case interviews, what skills interviewers are seeking in candidates, and how to prepare effectively. You will also engage with other students during small case demonstrations.
