Volunteer to help underserved high school students by tutoring one-on-one!

Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology

– Tutor applicants will be matched to a student depending on the subjects that they volunteer for, which they are able to select in the application form.

– Sessions are required to be at least 1 hour per week with an assigned student.

Tutors have to be current New York University students who have:

– Taken the specific subject in High School, NYU or another university.

– Committed for at least a whole semester.

– Have determination to provide quality tutoring with patience and knowledge, adapting to the needs of the specific student!

What classes are we expected to know for each subjects?

Mathematics: Anything up until Calculus I

Biology: Anything up until Principles of Biology I and II

Physics: Anything up until General Physics I and II

Chemistry: Anything up until General Chemistry I and II
