This short film marks the return of award-winning filmmaker Gene Adu into the scripted narrative space. He describes it as a collection of deeply personal thoughts and a layered piece of art that he hopes audiences will sit with and replay over time. The film is the first collaboration between The Creative Inc. and Cassette and features performances from newcomer Michael Angelo Taylor, Andrew Bunting (Water & Garri), Princess Fathia Nkrumah (The Kids Are Not Alright) and King of Stage Andrew Tandoh Adote (The Gods Are Not To Blame).

Akua is a manic depressive 35-year- old wife and mother. Her husband Fred and her three kids are her whole life. They met in her final year in Law School, became inseparable and married soon after they graduated. Akua lets go of her dream to become a lawyer when their first child comes along soon after. Fred tells her that he is leaving her for a lawyer in his firm because he can no longer live with a woman who is manic depressive.
