NYU's Immigrant Defense Initiative.
More than 40 percent of NYU students are international students. A smaller number are undocumented students, but many more come from mixed status families and communities. Following the recommendation of the NYU chapter of the AAUP, we encourage students to seek free legal support and other resources through NYU’s Immigrant Defense Initiative. NYU IDI provides an extensive list of updates and resources. Students may also consult the “Know Your Rights” information provided by the New York Immigration Coalition."
