FOR EDUCATORS

REWRITING THE DECLARATION
STUDENT MATINEE PERFORMANCE

NYU's Program in Educational Theatre, Free Street Theater, and the Speranza Foundation are proud to invite educators and students to engage with this participatory experience.

RE-WRITING THE DECLARATION will present a student matinee performance on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11AM EST (10AM CST).

Run Time:
The anticipated performance runtime is 90 minutes.

Grade Level(s):
This production is suitable for students in grades 7-12 and college-level students.

Accessing the Platform:
This event will happen on Zoom. School groups will be able to access the performance in the following ways:
- Students can login to the performance individually.
- The instructor can login and then broadcast the stream to their virtual or in-person class using their school's preferred platform (Google Meets, etc.) - please note that this broadcasting option will limit the ability of the students to interact with the players.

Reserving Tickets:
Please fill out the SCHOOL GROUP FORM REQUEST, below OR CLICK HERE to input information about your student group and provide your contact. Once the request is received (you will receive a submission verification through Google Forms), a member of our team will respond within 24-48 hours.

SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY - Tickets will be reserved for the performances on a first come, first served basis - while this is a virtual platform, we do have a certain allotment of seats available, so get your request in today!

If you are interested in the performance, but cannot commit to this date/time, please let us know in the form. There are live performances available at other times that can accommodate groups or that you may want to make available to your students on an individual basis. We may also be able to provide an asynchronous video option of a recorded performance with or without a follow-up feedback discussion over Zoom or other virtual meeting platform.
