Albert is the University's system for managing course registration, grading, and course evaluation. This video tutorial covers how faculty use it.
Tisch School of the Arts administers course evaluations through Albert, and instructors view them there as well. Please familiarize yourself with this process.
Grade rosters open after the evaluation period ends. We encourage you to submit grades as soon as possible once rosters are available. Final grades are due 72 hours after rosters open.
Faculty can change a grade even after final grades are submitted.
Please note that Incomplete grades must be accompanied by this form. All forms should be submitted to the Open Arts office by the last day of classes.
All faculty are encouraged to submit midterm grades, as a way to help students gauge how they are doing in the class. Our office recommends you assign grades of "NI" or "S."
This calendar includes registration and add-drop deadlines, university holidays and closures, term start and end dates, and final exam days. It is updated for each semester, including January Term and Summer Sessions.
