Incomplete grades should not be given simply to delay giving an F. If your student has approached you for an Incomplete and you believe it is appropriate to grant one, please fill out this form together. Pay special attention to the following three fields: "Deadline for Submitting Incomplete Work"; "Deadline for Submitting Grade"; Final Grade to Be Given If Incomplete Work Is Not Submitted By the Deadline Given." The completed form should be submitted to tisch.openarts@nyu.edu on or before the last day of classes.
First, we recommend you try and contact your student directly. If you do not hear from the student, please raise a flag for your student in NYU Connect. If you do not hear from the student's advisor within a reasonable amount of time, please reach out to our Student Services Administrator, Colleen Seeber (colleen.seeber@nyu.edu), who will put you in touch with the advisor directly.
Adjunct grant applications typically open in September. We recommend you reach out to Ayana Phillips (ayana.phillips@nyu.edu) in early August if you are interested in applying for an adjunct grant, as applications are first-come, first-served. You may learn more about the grant process here.
To request a final grade change for your student, see instructions here.
PeopleLink is available for all HR, benefits, and payroll inquiries.
Send your new course description to tisch.openarts@nyu.edu. Once our Chair approves it, our office will upload the new description to Albert.
If you are interested in teaching on a different day or time than what you normally teach, please contact Zhuojie Chen (zhuojie.chen@nyu.edu). If classes have not yet gone live in Albert (see here for the academic calendar), then there is a greater likelihood you will be able to change your day or time. We are unable to change your day or time once students begin to register for classes.

As of the Spring 2021 semester, there are 6 required paragraphs that you must include in your Open Arts/Collaborative Arts syllabus. You may find the 6 paragraphs at this link.
The University recommends you submit final grades within 72 hours of when final grade rosters open. See instructions for how to submit final grades here.
The midterm grades deadline for Spring 2021 has not yet been posted, but should be updated to the academic calendar soon. Our office recommends you assign students midterm grades of NI (Needs Improvement) or S (Satisfactory) so that they have a general understanding of where they stand by that point in the semester. See instructions for how to submit midterm grades here. Midterm grade rosters do close, so if you miss the deadline, please email your students their grades.
Check back in early January - we will post the dates here. You will receive an official invitation from our office through email and Google Calendar.
