The Office of Inclusive Engagement & Student Life (IESL) amplifies student voices, builds community, and creates opportunities for leadership, celebration, and connection at Silver.
We support students by:
Managing key transition events like orientation and graduation celebrations
Advising and supporting student groups and councils
Overseeing student spaces at 1 WSN
Promoting leadership development, socioemotional support, basic needs programs, and community-building programs and events
Our work focuses on fostering belonging, well-being, and inclusive engagement by bringing social work values to life beyond the classroom. We also connect students with partners across Silver, NYU, and the profession to strengthen community and create meaningful experiences.
Our student groups and councils are open to all backgrounds and identities. To learn more about the missions of NYU Silver student groups and councils, please contact IESL or log onto NYU Engage through NYUHome and use the search to filter for NYU Silver School of Social Work groups.
