Handshake
Handshake is the Wasserman Center's career development platform for jobs, internships, events, and more! Students can build their career by connecting with relevant opportunities based on their profile, interests and search activity. Easily apply for positions, explore companies and connections and sign up for Wasserman coaching appointments, career fairs and workshops all in one place!
You can login with your NYU Net ID credentials (Single Sign On) and begin exploring the system. All currently enrolled, degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate students (excluding MBA, Law, Medical, & Dental) at the NYU Schools served by Wasserman have automatically been granted accounts.
Initial Log-In: When you log-in for the first time, you will be prompted to create your profile and upload a resume into the system.
Leveraging Handshake
In the upper right hand corner, click "Career Center," where you can sign up for career coaching appointments with Wasserman, view upcoming events, and access a vast array of digital resources from resume samples to industry guides.
Update your Handshake profile with your experience, skills, interests, and other relevant information. Handshake will use that information to generate personalized recommendations for jobs and internships that may be a good fit for you as well as help to connect you with employers and recruiters.
