Office of Global and Lifelong Learning

The Office of Global and Lifelong Learning (OGLL) provides advanced learning opportunities encompassing theoretical and evidence-based practice models. OGLL’s programming is based on a careful analysis of current priorities in practice and research, new policies that impact treatment, and faculty scholarship. Taught by top faculty, OGLL’s programs offer the most current approaches to working with diverse populations in varied circumstances while teaching the application of theory to practice. The office is working to address the school’s larger mission of Actions Against Racism, and focuses on programming that models an anti-oppressive and inclusive lens.

Social workers are to be committed to lifelong learning and as an upcoming graduate of Silver, you are welcome to take advantage of the many opportunities at OGLL, including certificate programs, workshops, and self-study programs with a 25% discount off of fees. OGLL offerings are also a great way to earn NYSED and ASWB/ACE approved Continuing Education Contact Hours.
