Does club soccer have tryouts?

• • Yes, we hold tryouts. We will always post on I️nstagram, email, and update this webpage with all information regarding them.

How many people are on the team?

• • Our team consists of 25 players.

Do you need experience to play?

• • We welcome everyone to come tryout for club soccer, but we do compete at a high level, and most players tend to have experience on the field.

Is this team co-ed?

• • This club team is for women identifying and non-binary students, so it is not co-ed. NYU’s intramural soccer is co-ed though.

Practices and Games 

How often and when does club soccer practice/have games?

• • We are planning on having 2 practices and one optional lift during the week, along with one game on the weekends. We sometimes schedule double headers, meaning we will play two games in one day.

  • The times for our practices will be when field space is available, which could mean later at night, or early in the morning.

Where does club soccer practice/play?

• • We play at fields around the Manhattan area like Pier 40 and James J. Walker. Our games will mostly be away so our games will be at the competing school’s fields.  

What teams does club soccer play?

• • We play the other schools in the NIRSA bracket. Our schedules are always posted on this webpage.
