Cite the Declaration

We welcome citations of the New York Declaration on Animal Consciousness in academic work. For now, as a temporary solution, please cite the background document as follows:

In the coming months, a comprehensive scientific appendix to the declaration will be produced that summarizes the evidence presented at the 19 April meeting, and this will then become our preferred citation.
