MindHive provides a one-stop shop platform to support teachers and students in carrying out independent projects. We offer web-based tools, mentorship programs, and educational resources to help learners design studies, collaborate in data collection and analysis, and communicate study outcomes - all within a global network of schools and science mentors.
We offer two programs, each paired with a flexible curriculum. Tap on each picture to get a quick snippet or click on the button bellow to learn more.
MindHive is a collaborative research platform for students, educators, and researchers. We offer tools, mentorship programs, and educational materials to bring together experts and non-experts to co-design studies, collaborate in data collection and analysis, and communicate study outcomes. MindHive's mission is to help promote a healthy science ecosystem by including all stakeholders in all steps of the research process.
YouQuantified gives learners the opportunity to explore data generated by their own brains, bodies, and behavior. With the support of hands-on lessons that introduce them to basic principles of data, creative data visualization, and data ethics, learners will work with biosensing devices and web-based creative coding tools to develop their own representations of their brainwaves, heart rate, voice, etc.
To date, around 2,000 students have used MindHive across New York City and the United States. We are working on expanding to schools in Brazil, Chile, Nigeria, Spain, and other regions.
