Connxtion.io's group created a pair of headbands that could translate thoughts between two people. Obviously, this would fall into the same category as our group, Connection Paradox (It even says it on the name).Β
I loved their performance because they used close to no tools. Instead, they used themselves as the tools to. For example, one of them acted as the headband's robotic voice and really sounded authentic.
In terms of how well they met the criteria, numerically I would give them an 8.7/10. Honestly, their performance was what sold me. Everyone in that group comes from different places, China, Vietnam, United States, etc. This further emphasized the Connection Paradox that might be possible in 2124. The reason I didn't rate it higher was because I felt that just by looking at the headband, you have no idea what it does. The only detail/visual clue it gives is that you can wear it in your head. Their performance, in my opinion, was the most impactful one.Β
I think an improvement that could've made their performance from amazing to spectacular was if they dressed in their hometown's cultural attire. It could've emphasized the need of the gadget. Also adding a few details onto the gadget to imply it's use would've changed my rating into a 10/10.
