Within Unity3d we wanted to make changes to our Small House scene so that we could monitor the changes in someone’s emotional state based on the environment. To start we created a program that users could change manually so that could edit the environment to their liking. This allowed us to understand the architectural design features users could change. After that, we were able to establish a client and server connection that allowed us to implement our trained model into unity. This will allow the game engine to make automatic changes to the setting to improve the user experience.
In the future, the VR environment can be modified not only to adjust the intensity of it's lighting, but also its color, to better incorporate the range of emotions.
