NYS TESOL ALWC2026 Scholarship (Previously Registration fee waiver - up to 100 applicants) 

ALWC2026 is excited to announce the ALWC2026 Scholarship Program for NON-member participants with financial needs and personal/professional hardship. Participants can apply for this scholarship, if they are:

• Early career educators

• Educators from developing countries

• Educators working in challenging circumstances

• Students enrolled in TESOL programs

• Other reasons not mentioned above

The scholarship provides free registration for ALWC2026, available for the first 100 applicants. This scholarship does not include a membership to NYS TESOL. Submissions close on **Extended!!** April 14th, 2026 (Tue) @11:59pm Eastern Time, or once the first 100 applicants have applied.

Q: Why only for non-members? 

A: Because an active NYS TESOL member can register for free anyway! :)

*How to apply for the waiver: 

1. First, submit this application form (https://forms.gle/GZs4aUUgvkR8uFxU9 ) 11:59pm, April 10th, 2026 (Fri) in Eastern Time.

2. After reviewing your application/eligibility, the ALWC2026 team will email you a special code that will enable you to register free of charge to the ALWC2026 Conference within a week. Please check your spam folder!

3. Participants who received the scholarship should register by 04/15/2025 (Wednesday) 11:59 pm Eastern time to make sure they receive the conference zoom link, which will be sent out to the registrants a day before the conference.

4. Please do NOT share the code: Keep the code confidential and refrain from sharing it with others or sharing the code on any social media platform

*Please note we do NOT issue a certificate for this schoarlship program. Please use the instruction email you receive from us (that contains information to register using this scholarship) as a proof, if needed.
